Zulily — Digital Asset Manager, Creative

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Asset Managerat Zulily works within the creative org to ingest, organize and maintain corporate digital assets into multiple platforms and tools. This includes but is not limited to Bynder, Workfront/Wrike, and myriad internal tools, servers and platforms. This role will ensure correct keywords/metadata are applied to files being ingested as well as maintaining image hierarchy and file structure in a standardized and scalable system.They will retrieve files from shared drives as requested as well as use our workflow management tools for retrieval/uploading of assets.They will purge/archive requested files and review regular reporting and analytics as well as retrieve files as requested from vendor provided sites as directed. The Media Asset Operator will be responsible for creating and maintaining a data dictionary, governance strategy, as well as support team members in determining what gets uploaded into each platform/tool. This role will also work with the Bynder and Workfront/Wrike account managers as needed ensuring full implementation and adoption, as well as reviewing opportunities for system enhancements.

Responsibilities of The Role

·Support implementation and maintenance of Zulily’s digital assets across multiple tools

·Ingest and retrieve digital assets from a variety of sources including shared drives, internal systems as well as third party tools

·Create data dictionary and governance strategy

·Ensure accuracy of digital asset taxonomy and metadata

·Collect information for images, including validation of the correct file types

·Maintain organization of incoming assets and ensure ingested assets follow existing file storage standards

·Attaching correct keywords/metadata following establish metadata standards 

·Purging requested files and maintaining data cycle 

·Find efficiencies and process improvements where applicable as it relates to Zulily’s digital asset management tools

·Ability to assist with projects, collaborative responsibilities and complete tasks as assigned

Who you are:

·2 to 3 years’ experience working with media, post-production or creative operations

·Intermediate knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat and familiarity with Adobe After Affects

·Working knowledge of digital media file formats such as .XML, .MOV, DV, .PSD, jpg, tif, png, ai etc. and file conversion

·Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point

·Experience with digital asset management and metadata principles

·Experience building out processes and procedures, managing expectations with stakeholders, and flexibility in an agile environment

·Excellent communication skills across multiple stakeholders including senior leadership

·Results-driven with analytical aptitude

·Ability to identify necessary process improvements and present to leadership

·Proven organization skills with an ability to partner with multiple teams

·Creative problem solving
